Who we are

Lowland Financial Services prides itself in putting our clients at the forefront of everything we do. We have been based in Galashiels since 2000 and look after clients from all over the Scottish Borders and beyond.

We pride ourselves on the excellent team we have put together at Lowland and we are sure you will feel the same.

Who we are

Our history

If you are thinking about your retirement, whether that’s in the future, it’s imminent or you are already retired – we are experts at helping people make the most of and review their plans for retirement.

Almost every person we work with has been recommended to Lowland by a friend, family member or professional adviser such as an accountant or solicitor, which we like to think implies a trust in what we offer.

That trust has been built up and maintained in over 50 years.

Originally a General Insurance Brokers, Lowland separated in 2000 into a General Insurance Brokers (Lowland Insurance Brokers) and a Financial Planning Advice business (Lowland Financial) to allow both businesses to specialise in what they do best.
